My sister would hog th...I remember the changeover. My sister would hog the phone line for four hours at a time most every evening. For her fifteenth or sixteenth birthday, I can't remember, you and dad bought her her own phone line just so we could use our phone. That was, of course, after applying "limitations" on her time didn't really work, and a few awkward, pick up the phone and hear strange conversations, incidents.<BR/>I didn't really use the phone for talking all the time back then. It was mostly for dialing up the internet service provider. I was glad I won the debate over broadband early on, I think around 12 or 13, otherwise those years would have been terrible. :)<BR/><BR/>Besides, I could always just use voice chat over the internet to talk to people. So much more convenient and cheaper. Although n...Aw, I remember conversations like that. Although nowadays, texting for hours on end is usually more appropriate. And unlimited free night and weekend minutes was a huge help as well. My boyfriend and I would stay up so late and fall asleep while still on the phone, just listening to each other breathing. Then, in the morning, the last call would read 5 and a half hours! I am really lucky that I grew up in the cell phone age, so I never worried about interrupting others phone time.
